What the film shows
Six objects, one record, and the proof.
The record is written, not read
A PO line packs into an SSCC carton, books, joins a container and moves on a leg chain. Each step writes to the same record, so no fact is retyped and no part of the chain is a copy.
The label is the proof
Shipeezi mints the SSCC at packing and generates the 856 from the same data, so the barcode on the carton and the document the retailer receives cannot disagree.
One question, one answer
What is in the carton, which PO lines it serves, and who touched it last. The record answers at carton grain, which is the grain a chargeback is argued at.

What happens, in order.
A PO line to a leg, in six objects
The film opens on the object chain. A PO line carries the SKU, quantity, HS code and origin. It packs into an SSCC carton that holds its contents as rows. The carton becomes a supplier booking with a mode and the cartons it covers. Bookings consolidate into a container with a vessel, voyage and seal. The container travels on an ordered chain of legs, and each leg writes its own events.
Read versus write
The middle of the film separates the two layers. A read-only system receives status, ETAs and alerts. An execution system writes the POs, cartons, labels, bookings and legs as the work happens. Both can draw the same screen. Only one can answer for it.
The label and the 856
The film ends on the carton. The SSCC is minted at packing, the 856 is generated from the same record, and the question the whole chain turns on is answered in one place: what is inside the carton.
