ROI calculator
What Shipeezi saves you. In your own numbers.
Seven numbers about your import volume, three assumptions you control, and the three places the money goes: import ops time, the chasing, and retail chargebacks. Everything recalculates as you adjust a slider.
Your import operation
A normal year for you. Every number is yours to set.
Your assumptions
The parts only you can know. We start conservative; adjust anything you disagree with.
An estimate, not a quote. Every figure below shows its working.
Cost is not in this number.
Shipeezi plans are priced on your volume: a platform plan for retailers and LSPs, usage metered per container, and the portal free for the suppliers, forwarders and CFS operators you invite. The pricing page explains the model, and sales will put a real number on your volume.
Five years, flat volume
| Year | Savings that year | Cumulative |
|---|---|---|
| Year 1 | $182,760 | $182,760 |
| Year 2 | $182,760 | $365,520 |
| Year 3 | $182,760 | $548,280 |
| Year 4 | $182,760 | $731,040 |
| Year 5 | $182,760 | $913,800 |
Volume held flat and no price rises assumed, so this is a floor, not a forecast.
FAQ
How the numbers work. Answered straight.
How is the saving worked out?
Three levers, each with its working on the page: import ops time (your team, hours, hourly cost and a save rate you set), chain chasing (hours a week on packing lists, status and documents, and a save rate), and chargebacks (containers, chargeback rate, average value and the share pre-ship checks can prevent). Adjust any slider and the working updates.
Is the chargeback model realistic?
The rate and the average value are yours to set, because they differ by retailer and program. The default is 8% of containers and $3,000 an event, with half preventable. Shipeezi mints the SSCC it validates, so the 856 matches the physical barcode, and label, quantity and timing are checked before the shipment leaves.
What is deliberately left out?
Anything that cannot be tied to a slider you control: faster supplier onboarding, avoided demurrage, consolidation gains, the cost of another portal, the value of the trace itself. They are real, but they are guesses until we see your data, so they do not go in the total.
Who is this calculator for?
Retailers and importers running their own POs, and LSPs and 4PLs operating for retailer clients. Figures are per year unless labelled otherwise. If you import fewer than 24 containers a year, the conversation is probably a walkthrough on your POs rather than a volume model.
